Patti Adair is a proud wife, mother of three, Deschutes County Commissioner, and fourth-generation Oregonian. Patti’s Oregon roots date back to 1884 when her family settled in Eastern Oregon near Ukiah. She was born in Pendleton, Oregon, and grew up in Heppner on her family’s ranch on Little Butter Creek. From a young age, she was deeply involved in her community as a 4-H member. Patti is a proud University of Oregon Duck who later earned her CPA license from Central Washington University.

Public service and philanthropy have always been a significant part of Patti’s life. She has personally led efforts to raise several million dollars for charitable causes, including schools, a hospital, and for Union Rescue Mission, a program for homeless women and children. Patti has also worked as an auditor and a full-cycle accountant at Moss Adams. Her extensive financial background gives her unique insight into promoting fiscal responsibility and strong oversight of your tax dollars.

Concerned by the issues facing her local community, Patti successfully ran for the Deschutes County Commission in 2018. She was re-elected in 2022 and currently proudly represents over 200,000 Oregonians. Patti has built a broad coalition of voters, bringing together Democrats, Republicans, and Unaffiliated voters to deliver meaningful change to Deschutes County. In less than two terms, Patti has successfully fought for safer communities, protected our natural resources, and advocated for our veterans.

As County Commissioner, Patti oversees more than 1,200 employees and twenty-two departments. After serving for seven years, Patti is most proud of Deschutes County’s successful veterans village program and of saving Worrell Wayside Park in Bend from becoming the county headquarters parking lot. The park is over an acre and is a unique lava outcropping. Additionally, Patti serves as the Chair of the Central Oregon Commission on Transportation, as the Deschutes County Fair Association liaison, and on the Local Government Advisory Committee. Currently, Patti serves on 12 additional boards.

Patti's deep roots in Oregon and her firsthand experience of both rural and urban life give her a unique understanding of the needs and concerns of the voters in Oregon’s 5th Congressional District. Patti has always fought for our region, standing up for veterans, advocating for safer communities, supporting small businesses, and working to improve our local economy. Patti is a problem-solver who has always put people before politics. She is running for Congress to bring her proven bipartisan approach to Washington, D.C. In Congress, she will work across the aisle and deliver much-needed results for Oregon.

Patti and her husband Bob, a retired surgeon, live on their horse ranch in Sisters with their dogs, horses, and cats. When not occupied with official county duties, Patti can be found with her horses or supporting local businesses.
