Janelle Bynum Politicizes Silver Rail Elementary Tragedy

SISTERS, OR— Today, Deschutes County Commissioner Patti Adair, candidate for Oregon’s 5th Congressional District, criticized Congresswoman Janelle Bynum for politicizing the tragedy that happened at Silver Rail Elementary last week. Commissioner Adair stated the following: 

“Parents want solutions after the tragedy that happened last week at Silver Rail Elementary. They don’t want empty words or useless political rhetoric. I find it insulting that Janelle is trying to politicize this tragedy. Our district deserves better than her.

I’m running to give parents real solutions, not partisan talking points like Janelle Bynum.”
